COVID-19 Safety Information | The Specialty Eye Care Centre

COVID-19 Safety Information

The recent coronavirus pandemic has impacted all of us including how we take care of ourselves and our loved ones. The professional staff at Specialty Eyecare Centre is no exception and all of us have worked diligently to create a safe environment for our patients as well as ourselves.

Very few of us have immunity protecting us from COVID-19 this time. We eagerly await the vaccine which hopefully will be here in less than a year. Until that time, we continually take the best science and common sense approach to create a safe medical experience.

I would like to share the steps we have taken to provide a secure and safe experience.

  • Virtual Waiting Room
  • COVID-19 Risk Exposure Questionnaire
  • Mask Requirement
  • Temperature
  • Guest Limitations
  • Coffee and Magazine Service Suspension

Your vision and eyesight are precious. Most patients, simply can’t wait that additional 6 months to be examined to make sure that your eyes are stable. Others, may have missed appointments or are concerned that your vision is slipping.

We are still open and will remain providing the full premium service that we always have provided. We have restricted hours to best serve our patients and when the need increases, will resume normal hours. When you come for your visit, please follow our new guidelines and procedures to make your visit safe.
