When want the highest standard of care, when it really matters, Specialty Eyecare Centre is the place to go. I have now had both glaucoma and cateract surgeries with Dr. Barnebey, and I cannot imagine a better service. Testing is excellent, with an impressive array of equipment this is often updated. The pre-op consultations are perfect, with easy to understand explanations and documentation. The surgeries are handled perfectly to keep me understanding and calm going in and out, and to post op follow up is superb. While I see other writers complain about being on getting late, this is quite unfair because this clinic deals with serious emergencies, and medical work needs to be triaged. If you want the best, this is where to go.

Dr. Barnebey is a knowledgeable expert in his field. I would recommend him to anyone in the Seattle area with glaucoma issues.

Dr. Barnabey did my cataract surgery a few years ago. My care there has been the BEST. Recently I've seen Dr. Ernesto Golez twice and he is GREAT. Knows what he's doing, answers all questions completely, is very kind and explains everything. I couldn't be more pleased. I first saw him when Dr. Barnabey wasn't available and very happy to continue seeing him. I give him gold stars across the board!!

Dr. B (Dr. Barnebey) is the best! He is very skilled and has taken great care of me all these years. I have always had the utmost trust and confidence in him. His staff is very helpful and accommodating as well.

The center is amazing,caring,knowable. Can't say enough positive about the staff,from the receptionist,tech's. Now for the Dr's... most of my experience has been with Dr. Barneby,he saved my vision.. I needed resolution on my eye problems. Very high pressure. Glaucoma. He prescribed ex's, not wanting to rush to surgery. End result was surgery was needed. He is so compassionate and such a great surgeon. It's been 2 years pressure is perfect. I go in for rechecks to make sure all is good. Recently experiencing a red eye. (Not the eye that had surgery, thankfully) saw Dr. Golitz, very caring, personable, spent a hour, doing tests and discovered the problem. If anyone needs optical care please do yourselves the best care ever..... see these great Dr's.
